Suspected Fulani herdsmen attack passengers heading to Kaduna, rape women

Assailants suspected to be Fulani herdsmen reportedly attacked and robbed some passengers on their way to Kaduna.
The incident happened on Saturday, May 5. One of the victims, Odirichukwu Chima Lawrence, who is currently receiving treatment in a hospital, said the assailants raped female passengers and made away with their money and other valuables.
"Thank God for saving my life after a horrifying attack by herdsmen on our way to Kaduna. They robbed us, raped women and took away our monies and other valuables."

US First lady, Melania Trump returned to the White House today after undergoing a surgical procedure during the week to treat a kidney condition.   Melania had been recovering at Walter Reed medical center since Monday, when she underwent an embolization procedure to treat the kidney condition. Spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham said in a statement that Melania Trump returned to the White House on Saturday morning.     “She is resting comfortably and remains in high spirits. Our office has received thousands of calls and emails wishing Mrs. Trump well, and we thank everyone who has taken the time to reach out” Grisham said.
