Breaking! North Korea releases three Americans held hostage in the country

President Donald Trump has just announced that three American citizens held for months in North Korea have been released.

Kim Dong Chul, Kim Hak-song and Kim Sang Duk were freed during US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's second visit to the North Korean capital of Pyongyang in two months.

The detainees are returning to the United States as Trump prepares to make history by becoming the first sitting US President to meet face-to-face with a North Korean leader.

Trump's administration had previously said that if the North Koreans freed the three Americans, it would be viewed as a goodwill gesture ahead of the planned summit between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

The Enugu State Police command have arrested 25 suspected cultists, who gathered for their initiation activities recently. Angry husband pours hot semovita on wife in Ekiti State Nigeria

Yesterday, a 35-year-old man, Bawa Joshua, appeared in an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court, for allegedly pouring hot semovita on his wife, Grace. The defendant had pleaded not guilty to a count charge of assault.     The prosecutor, Insp. Johnson Okunade, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on May 7, at about 8:00 p.m., at Ayoomodara St., Ado-Ekiti. He said the defendant quarreled with the complainant, and in the process poured hot semovita on her, which caused her harm.     He said that the offence contravened Section 415 of the Criminal Code, Law of Ekiti State, 2012. The prosecutor applied for adjournment to enable him to study the case file and present his witnesses.
